We enjoyed having grandpa Jeff, grandma Dodie, uncle Josh, aunt Teisha & cousins Alexa & Avery here to celebrate Christmas with us last weekend. It was a weekend full of fun!
Thursday: Grandpa & grandma arrived!
Daddy and grandpa went to the Steelers game...Brrr!
Mommy, grandma & Jacobi stayed home where it was warm to watch the game:)
Friday: Josh, Teisha & the girls arrived.
We hung out at home and enjoyed homemade pizza for supper.
Saturday: In the morning we went swimming at Josh & Teisha's hotel and in the afternoon grandma Dodie stayed home with Jacobi & Avery while the rest of us ventured downtown for some lunch and a view of the city from the Duquesne Incline. That evening we had a delicious Christmas dinner followed by opening presents!
Sunday: We went to church and came home to lunch ready in the oven thanks to a family in the church who dropped off a load of delicious food for our whole family to enjoy! In the evening we took a sleigh ride to view a light show...it was a chilly night but we kept warm by wrapping up in blankets and snuggling close:)
Monday: We said "see ya later" to grandma Dodie & grandpa Jeff. The rest of the day was spent hanging out with Josh, Teisha & the girls. After supper Jacobi and I said our "see ya laters" to them as we dropped them off at their hotel. Adam however waited to say his goodbyes until Tuesday...at 5am when he dropped them off at the airport;)
We are so thankful that our families have been willing to travel so far to visit us while we are here in PA for the year.
He enjoys being read to and he definitely has his favorites...he also lets us know when he is done with one and wants to move onto another.
As you will see below, Jacobi enjoys getting up close and personal with his books by putting his face really close, sitting on them or even trying to take a nap on them;)
You will have to excuse the runny nose in some of the pictures...we were fighting a pretty bad cold when some of these were taken.
A list of Jacobi's (current) favorite books:
Good Night, Gorilla by Peggy Rathmann
Little Quack's ABC's by Lauren Thompson
Let's Look & First Words by Baby Einstein
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr
