AFLBS Annual Alumni Tournament

We enjoyed spending time with Bible school friends and classmates and were excited to introduce them to the newest addition to our family:)

Our friends Andy & Monica Coyle have a son (Josiah) who is just six days older than Jacobi.  We enjoyed supper from Qdoba with the Coyles on Saturday evening.

Rolling Over...

On March 18th mommy came in to get me out of my bed and found me on my back (looking a bit distressed;)...the last she knew, I was laying on my tummy.  

Mommy was thinking this was probably just a fluke but when she put me on my play mat the next day I showed her I could actually roll over!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

These are a few of my favorite things...

1) mommy & daddy
2) snuggling when I wake up
3) lights
4) "talking"/cooing (one of his favorite things to say is "agoo")
5) and his most recent discovery...the clock!  After a recent interruption from his feeding (right before bedtime) by the EXTREMELY loud fire alarm in the dorm, mommy was walking around with Jacobi and she stopped near the clock.  He started to smile as he gazed up at it:)

Mommy & Daddy went to Benihana for supper...it was delicious!  Below is a little blurb about the food and atmosphere at Bennihana.  We highly recommend you get a group together and try it out!

After we had stuffed ourselves at Bennihana we returned to the AFLBS campus and enjoyed some time with friends as well as homemade Red Velvet Cake served with vanilla ice cream...yum!

Road Trip to Iowa

March 4th -6th

We packed up the car and headed to Iowa for the weekend.  We attended a wedding and were able to spend time with Grandma Dodie, Grandpa Jeff, Uncle Josh, Aunt Teisha and cousins Alexa and Avery. The best quotes from the weekend are...

Avery: "shh, baby"(shushing everyone because there was a baby in the house)

Alexa: "hi buddy"(to Jacobi);

"I call him buddy because he is so cute!...and, he's a boy"(to Aunt Courtney)

We also enjoyed introducing Jacobi to a new friend...Luke, my(Courtney) friend Lynn's baby.

He really wasn't as scared of Avery as he looks:)
