September 20th was a cold & windy day for outdoor pictures, but we still managed 

to get a few smiles out of our little peanut:)

We couldn't make it through the whole photo shoot without a little meltdown though;)

Kaia's First Birthday

Kaia, Kaia, Kaia.  You woke up on your first birthday with a double ear infection:(  Thankfully by the following evening you were feeling much better & we were still able to have your party as planned.  Mommy made a chocolate cake & white cupcakes.  Daddy helped decorate them.  We thought they turned out pretty nice:)  We love you sweet girl & are so thankful that the Lord brought you into our lives on September 26, 2012.  

Big brother helped you blow out your candle:)

Fall Fun

We have had some beautiful Fall days lately so we have tried to make the most of them by spending as much time outside as we can.  Here are some pictures from a recent trip to our favorite park...Jacobi calls it "The Green Park".
