Snow!

Yesterday we experience the first snowfall of the season...isn't it supposed to be Fall?!   

And he's off!

It didn't take him long to figure out that he was no longer confined to the 5x8 foot rug in the middle of our living room.  He has ventured out to all corners of the room which has led mommy to "adjust" a few things in the room:)

Proof of a Tooth!

On September 22nd Jacobi's first tooth poked through.  Today I was finally able to get a picture of it...you might have to click on the picture to see it a little better:)

A Week of Visitors...

Jacobi is a pretty big mommy/daddy's boy, but after a week of visitors he seems to be getting a bit more friendly with "strangers" :)  Grandpa Jim & Grandma Liz made the long trip from Minnesota to visit us for a few days.

Here mommy, Jacobi and grandpa Jim are in front of Wholley's Fish Market...they have a famous fish sandwich called the Whaler...it has a pound of fish piled high on a fresh roll!  

Jacobi's loves his bath!  We joke that if we were desperate to leave him with a sitter and he wasn't happy that they could just give him a bath the whole time we were gone...even if the water was freezing cold, he would be all smiles;)

The day that Grandpa Jim & Grandma Liz left, Grandma Dodie flew in to see us.  Grandpa Jeff drove out a few days later to pick her up.  We had a great time relaxing at home, going for walks, taking Jacobi's 9 month pictures, attending a birthday party and teaching Jacobi how to use the Swiffer...I think he almost knocked Grandma Dodie out a few times;)
