12 month pictures
I was going to add captions, but I think the pictures speak pretty well for themselves:)
Jacobi had a little trouble warming up to the photographers,
but as you will see we got some pretty good shots.
Our only disappointment was finding out (as we were going through all of the poses to chose which ones we wanted) that Jacobi's name was spelled wrong with the blocks(in the last few pictures above). As those pictures were being taken Jacobi kept picking up the blocks that spelled out his name. The photographer and daddy did a great job of trying to distract him with other blocks but when the photographer went to put the blocks back to spell his name they got mixed up and none of us noticed until it was too late:( It worked out fine because she took a picture of just the blocks and we were able to get a free "decorator" picture which includes 2 poses and his name spelled out with the blocks diagonally. It looks great!
**by the way, the "1" behind Jacobi in some of the pictures with the balloons just happened to land that way after Jacobi gave it a toss:)

We had a party complete with...
balloons,
presents,
homemade pizza,
& cake!
he was less than impressed with the cake,
and didn't enjoy how messy his hands got:)

It's hard to believe our baby is already a year old!
