We were in need of some fresh air!

Kaia was a little grouchy and in need of a nap and Jacobi is always in the mood to "go outside" so even though it was just 25 degrees(on April 23, 2013) we were going to go for a walk!  Mommy was excited to get some exercise(although the pace was a little slower than I would have liked since Jacobi was on foot...we still haven't bought a double stroller) and fresh air too!

John Deere

The kids got matching John Deere shirts when we were at the John Deere Pavilion in January.  Kaia is just now able to fit in hers so I figured I better get a picture of them together before they outgrow them.

enjoyed rhubarb crisp(with vanilla ice cream) for dessert.

A visit from friends.

Our friends Ben, Adela & Stefan came for an overnight visit.  The weather was a little iffy, but they made it safe and we had a great and refreshing time together.  Our boys are just 4 months apart in age so it was fun to see them interact.  They were so cute in their matching construction jammies:)

Kaia was so worn out that she fell asleep before she got to her bed!
